For the past few years, Brazilian ex-pat Sergio Gregori has developed his production and composition skills while DJ’ing in venues from Sao Paulo to New York. His debut release on Nude Photo Music is a dark, murky and mysterious dub, with sweeping noisy synths, and tight minimal percussion. Breaking through the bass, sparse and distant melodies and an evocative vocal edit make for a solid cut equally at home on the ipod or as a DJ tool.

The Remixes

One of the forces behind San Franciscoʼs legendary Kontrol techno party, and respected dj/producer Alland Byallo takes the track into a deep disco journey with a beat straight out of Studio 54, with some added deepness reminiscent of classic Chicago cuts. Audioelectronic returns with another dubby tech house mix, with tight, swung percussion, driving synths, and echoing chords. Gold Code debuts with a stripped-down electro-funk influenced mix, with squelchy bass notes and 808 percussion. Rising Costa Rican techno star Mario Maroto (Subsensory Recordings) brings an elegant, funky, yet danceable mix that keeps the connection to the original, but takes it in a new direction.
